This drawing is of Lord Krishna's Childhood. My first Hindu Religious Art. The most difficult part that I have encountered while drawing this picture was the details on jewelry. For that I have used oil colors and pencils. Since the camera quality is low, the details are not much visible on the jewelry. I loved drawing each and every bit of this drawing. It took me around 4-5 hours to come up with this drawing. I have used pastel colors and oil colors wherever needed.

~~TIME~~
Time is free, but it's priceless
You can't own it, but you can use it.
You can't keep it, but you can spend it.
Once you've lost it, you can never have it.
This drawing is on my personal concept. It is depicting the regret of wasting old time of life that one cannot get again unfortunately.
Made By: Graphite 2B, 8B and mechanical pencil

Well this little girl is my best friend's niece. She's finally at an age where she can pose a little and I really love it. She's adorable and very cute. She resembles my best friend a lot and I love the way she do all the naughty stuff around. :P
I wanted to draw something special and at the same time wanted to play with pastels. I always asked by my friends and family to make their sketches once. So I thought to make something special for my best friend - 'Manisha' for whom I never made anything.
In this drawing I have manipulated her clothes while putting alphabets on it. Secondly I tried hard to make her furry blanket but because of lack of edgy pastels I wasn't able to make that much fur. And left it while putting a little bit sparkly effect using white pastel.
All and all I loved making her especially her clothes :) and hope Manisha would like it too :)

This drawing I made for my friend
HAWAI(nick name). She was asking me to draw her from a very long time. So I
thought to draw her with her fiancé and give her a surprise gift on her wedding
day.
I was not having any combined picture of them for my reference. But I managed to get their solo pictures from here and there(which was really tuff to pick). The picture of her fiancé got perfectly matched the way I wanted. But still left with her picture that can fit with him. Then again I searched loads of pictures in which I can find her little leaned towards her left, but I got nothing suitable. Finally I experimented with my skills and made her leaned on her fiance so that it look sweet and tender.
I wanted to give a twilight touch in the background, but was not having any reference picture to draw. So again I thought to make it myself but because of lack of reference and experience, background didn't come out the way I wanted. I admit that I should have done more finishing in the clouds but I had to get done with other packaging stuff with this portrait in a very short time, so I left with what I had attain.
Firstly, I wanted to do this picture with graphite. But then I realized that it would not go with the occasion, and that's when her life is getting more colors. So i finally decided to make this sketch in color and picked dry pastels to start with. This was my first complete drawing made by pastels. It took me approximately 12 hours to complete(not in a one day though).

The title of this drawing is self explanatory.
I referred this picture from some social website. I don't know what was their concept of clicking this picture. But seeing this picture touched me emotionally and instantly connected me with my childhood days.
It reminded me of the sacrifices that our parents made for our upbringing and the protection they had given us.
However, in this picture, the way the hands of parents holding the feet of the child in between their hands signifies the protection and security they provide to their children sacrificing their own comfort at every point of life. And because of this caring emotions, a family corner gets created somewhere in your heart. I am short of words to describe this drawing. But I am sure, being a child or parents, it can connect you somewhere with your feelings in either way.
I really want to dedicate this drawing to my family especially my parents and to all those for whom their family means the whole world to them.
It took me around 10 hours to complete this drawing. But I just loved making the feet of the child and I am very happy the way it came out :) . This was the first time when I drew hands on paper. And the first time too in creating something conceptual and sensible. :D

To start with this drawing I simply referred the two most common promotional pictures of this film - One for the white swan(http://www.impawards.com/2010/posters/black_swan_ver7.jpg) and second for the black swan(http://www.monsterchildren.com/assets/Uploads/_resampled/SetWidth491-Black-Swan-natalie-portman-17392128-2560-1707.jpg).
I started with the white swan first then background and ended up while making black swan. I'm happy with the picture because it gives a great contrast between the dark and light areas.
I used pencil colors to portray white swan and graphite to make background and black swan.
Hope you like it :)

Well what can i say about her. I think she was the first pop singer whose songs I love to hear. "I am with You","Complicated" and "Losing grip" been my favorite songs of that time.
This was my first attempt in drawing a face of a celebrity with pencil colors. I completed drawing her sketch with an ease listening her songs. I found her hairs a little difficult to color. Firstly because I wasn't having the particular shade matching her hairs color but somehow I managed by mixing strokes of yellow and brown color but still I didn't find it perfectly sketched.
After coloring her hairs I got struck thinking about the background. At first I thought to keep it blank just putting a little color around her. But again I thought to make the background using Beehive pattern(another experiment). I started with the pattern but then I got bored as I wasn't getting what I wanted because of lack of color quality. So I kept the remaining part with the simple color.
All in all I enjoyed drawing her and making somebody's portrait with color. It was fun and experimental too. :P

Mostly because Twilight was all around and it was very hard not to draw something from this movie
those days. I enjoyed watching this movie but it is not my favourite movie ever. It was very spectacular to watch a vampire(Edward) glittering in the sunlight :P
I
listened to the soundtrack of Twilight while sketching it which made me to complete it with an ease.
So, this is for those people who are the big fan of Twilight.
Overall I am happy with it. I took around 5 hours to complete at that time.
